| Bronwen
describes
herself
as
an
‘intuitive’
musician
and
songwriter.
Since
1993
she
has
worked
as
a
writer
and
performer.
Her
work
for
theatre
is
well
established
and
more
recently
she
has
written
for
film.
|
She
has
performed
her
own
material
at
the
Chard
Festival
for
Women
In
Music,
a
showcase
gig
to
“highlight
outstanding
female
writers”.
It
was
at
this
festival
that
she
first
met
Yvette
Staelens
in
2001
and
they
immediately
formed
a
mutual
appreciation
for
each
other’s
writing
abilities.
After
several
collaborations,
Bronwen
performed
on
a
recording
project
for
Roots
Quartet
and
soon
found
herself
happily
gigging
with
them! |
| Then
called
Bronwen
David,
she
recorded
her
first
album
‘Moonstruck’
with
well
known
New
Age
musician
Nigel
Shaw.
She
then
fronted
contemporary
folk
band
‘Seelie
Court’
in
the
early
90’s
before
developing
her
solo
career
in
theatre.
|
| She
is
lyricist
and
writer
for
a
recording
project,
Cabin
Fever,
a
collaboration
with
outstanding
guitarist
Peter
Stothart
and
technician
John
Pethers.
An
album,
described
as
'a
fusion
of
world
and
contemporary
styles',
was
released
to
an
overwhelmingly
positive
response |
| :
"...a
dark,
brooding
take
on
swamp
rock
with
a
very
modern
twist...some
ace
film
soundtrack
music
in
the
making..." |
